Last night was a celebration of the uncelebrated. Surrey and Hampshire Community Champions were given recognition at the 2018 Eagle Radio Local Heroes Awards which was hosted at G-Live in Guildford. Sixth Sense Marketing were present, delighted to represent Community Matters Partnership Project, (CMPP) who were the proud Charity Award sponsor.
It was a pleasure to share an evening with Surrey and Hampshire’s community champions. So many of us, especially living here in Surrey and Hampshire seem to be forever chasing something: Chasing around after the children, chasing the cat, chasing a dream or just chasing to catch up!
Last night was a positive re-awakening that not everybody is like that. For some, they choose to put other people or other interests ahead of their own.
The fascinating thing is that so many of the winners seemed unaware that they were in any way special. They were doing what came naturally to them and weren’t quite sure what all the fuss was about!
Sixth Sense Marketing is a proud supporter of Community Matters Partnership Project (CMPP) in Rushmoor. CMPP was proud to sponsor the Charity Award. Representing CMPP we were delighted to announced Simon Cowell from Wildlife Aid Foundation as the Winner. Simon has given up his home in order to help increasing numbers of animals working 24/7, and the charity, which is staffed by 300 volunteers, has saved hundreds of thousands of animals. On behalf of CMPP we’d like to thanks Eagle Radio for holding such an inspiring evening and for G-Live being such generous hosts. For more information about Eagle Radio Local Heroes visit the Eagle Radio website.
