Financial planners, including those that are part of St James’s Place Wealth Management, are missing a important trick if they are not using Google’s FAQs.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) is a beneficial feature with Google My Business (now Google Business Profile). It allows people to ask any questions related to a business on their respective GMB profile page. If you don’t have a profile page, read our blog about why it is important to set one up.
The Q&A section within the Google profile is a much underused and undervalued feature. One of the main reasons is because business owners assume they need to wait for customers to ask questions. Actually, it’s perfectly legitimate for Partners to both ask and answer their own questions – especially if it helps educate people to make more informed decisions.
Whoever manages your Google Business Profile will be able to manage these Q&As for you. Even better, there is a list of pre-approved FAQs that SJP Partners can download from their internal online marketing resources. We would recommend adding a couple of questions every month, like:
- Do you provide financial advice in Investment planning?
- When should you start planning your retirement?
- Do you offer advice or services for protection planning?
