A new business connections group was launched last night for busy people running growing businesses in Hampshire, Surrey and London. Enterprise Connexions (ECX) provides members the opportunity to support, collaborate and work with each other. ECX positively encourages members to visit all groups (where permitted) to extend their reach and influence. Over 70 people were in attendance for the launch.
The goal of Enterprise Connexions is to help organisations of all sizes to connect with external experts who can help them to solve common issues. The service involves a combination of regular face to face meetings, 24/7 online support, training, and social media. Business meetings are scheduled early in the morning, or in the evening, allowing professionals to gather with their peers, share common concerns and tap into the expertise of experienced consultants, without impinging on their regular office hours.
At the launch meeting, attendees heard case studies of how members have used the collective expertise of Enterprise Connexions to benefit their businesses:
Sixth Sense Marketing co-founder, Nick Shrimpton, explained how implementing a clear marketing and social media strategy enabled fellow Enterprise Connexions member, Harmony Counselling, to rapidly increase business during its growth phase.
Enterprise Connexions is underpinned by a market leading online platform developed by Enterprise Connexions member Digidrop. The website promotes members AND their businesses, promotes their social media channels, encourages collaboration and provides online advertising opportunities for members.
Enterprise Connexions chairman and founder, Martin Fowler commented: “We know from speaking to business leaders that they often struggle to find people with the necessary experience and expertise to guide them as they evolve from small to medium sized enterprises. Enterprise Connexions’ mission is to provide growing businesses with human to human support, backed by the latest technology.”
